This image provided by Nana Vic for the CDAC Progressive Challenge #16. I thought it would make a good card for a neighbor that was moving away. I used Zig Photo Twin Pens to lightly color the flowers. K & Company designer paper was used both inside & out. The embelishments are simply scrap pieces of cardboard, metal mesh and pink tulle. The little bird was cut on my cricut and the tags were made using an old coluzzle template.
I distressed all the edges using Ranger distress ink and the inside sentiment is from Close To My Heart.

Big Boy!!
Don't you just love this little guy? I cut him using one of the fantastic cutting files from Precious Piecings. He is called Get-cha-boy. The front of the card is actually a double slider giving it a lot of room for mom & dad to write whatever is in their hearts. Inside is the typical card with sentiment.
I used dimensionals to pop up the frame and image. There are a number of layers to the image along with a bit of shading using Colorbox Catseye pigment inks. Faux stitching as well as face and hand detail was done using a black copic liner.

Sweet Baby Boy
Another awesome little bear digi from Miami Doodles provide for the CDAC Progessive challenge # 15. You can never have too many baby cards.
I used the sketch from the Outlawz Wednesday Sketch challenge. The image was colored using copics and the designer paper used is from American Crafts.
Once again I used acetate to extend the balloons off the card.

Sweet Baby
This adorable image "Jesse Bear Angel- Cloud Sitter" is another fun stamp from Bugaboo Stamps which was generously donated for the CDACProgressive Challenge #15. I colored the image using copics. Liquid glass was added to the nose, heart & buterflies and glitter on the halo and stars. Sweet Baby sentiment is Katie & Co. stamp.
The
idea as well as the svg. file for this card is from
Paper Papillon. I have never made a circle side step card before so this
card was an experiment, it seemed to turn out O.K but it's not nearly as
fabulous as the one in the tutorial. Just to give a little more interest to my card I added butterflies to the end of acetate strips extending them beyond the card to give the appearance of them in flight.
( For Pile It On challenge - Stars, Sparkling halo and wings, Shiny nose and heart , Sweet.)

Luv Bunny
This little character is Eggbert Bunny from Bugaboo stamps. The little bit of coloring I did ,was done with copics. I made this card for my two year old Grandaughter, so I kept it pretty simple. The image was framed with a spellbinder die cut. The flowers were more from the stash I made a while back. I like to keep a supply on hand if I can. I added a little glitter to the edges of the flowers. I folded up the doilie (mostly because it was slightly damaged)and attached a flower and bow.
